  Mobile Powerhouse with Sleek Minimalist Aesthetic (& USB C CHARGING!)
  Needed a laptop to replace my desktop.I've owned ultrabooks and the Surface Pro,so while I've enjoyed thin laptops & form factors,I've never been able to use them like a desktop.This one caught my eye because of its understatedblack & boxy design, and the roomy keyboard(at the expense of a numpad).This is a very thin laptop.. almost confusingly so.It's so powerful & has such high-powered components,and yet it is thin like those ~2013 Macbook Pros, plus with ethernet.This laptop has 6 powerful cores, and after undervolting,they do not run hot (late 70 degrees Celsius during gameplay).The 1660ti is almost always cooler than the CPU by at least 5 degrees.I've created a fan curve for that on MSI Afterburner, andall this has allowed the laptop to function essentially as a des ktop replacement.16GB of single channel RAM allowed me to upgrade to 32GB.I purchased the 16GB RAM for about $100,and now I have dual channel memory.Feels good, even if it is excessive.Keep in mind, you will need to buy another stick of RAMto get dual channel performance, which is a 10-20% differencein framerates etc.You can totally get this laptop's specs for cheaper in another laptop,particularly the Acer Predator, but the extra money spent hereisn't gone to waste. This laptop is very well-made, light,& does not suffer from bloatware.The Asus Armory Crate has a dedicated button, but it controls lighting& fan temperatures and allows for monitoring, so it's welcome.However, the app itself is not as intuitive as it could be.MSI Afterburner & Intel Extreme Tuning Utilityare my undervolters of choice, for GPU & CPU respectively.My biggest complaint about this laptop is the audio situation.The external speaker is bassy to the point of boomy.The headphone output has a powerful DA C & sounds awesome,but there is software dynamic compression that happensat louder volumes*, and I've yet to figure out how to turn it off.Also, on Chrome, YouTube is out of sync at times..These are software issues, however.My biggest compliment (Part 1) is the USB C power delivery.It is what put this laptop over the top for me.Of course, you cannot run the dedicated graphics cardto its full potential with just ~65 watts (the power brickis ~230 watts, I believe..), but for everything else,including light gaming & office work, it is a lifesaver.This is because the battery on this laptop is relatively good(~72wh, I think), but the more you enjoy itsincredibly powerful components, the more it drains..no surprise there.You will get over an (1) hour of heavy-ish usage,or over three (3) hours of light usage.Keep the USB C charger handy, though,and it's no issue.My other biggest compliment (Part 2) is the screen, obviously!IPS & 144hz.. I know a lot of laptops have it now, and it's so nice for even browser navigation!The eyes just don't fatigue as much,and when going back to normal monitors, the cursorwill feel sluggish & scrolling will be more irritating.Plus, 15in screen** (with narrow bezels, so overall laptop is smaller)is the right size. I've done 17in & I've done 12in with laptops in the past.In my view, 15in is the right size!I am very happy with this laptop.I cannot go back to fewer cores &lower refresh rates. Hopefully,with its build quality, I won't have to.*within apps, not actual output..in other words, the volume on the YouTube video itself must be turned down a bit,not the volume coming out of the jack itself.. which is a good thing :)**the monitor does not lean back that far. A bit less than 125 degrees..Doesn't bother me but might bother others.

  The product I recieved is an USED one. First box is very dirty and lots of dust. Second, the software shows that this ssd has been used for 19 hours and 56 times. it is so obvious that This one is a returned one. Third, I can see the dust at bottom of laptop. Fourth, the power brick cable plastic bag has holes and it is done by hand. Fifth, the power charge is loose when insert into the laptop. Sixth, the fan has strange noises. Seventh, the speaker will cause serious virbration to palm rest, and the sound will crack if the volume is loud.I am really disappointed. I will never buy any Asus product from amazon again.

  Super laptop.
  Superbe ordinateur. Je suis photographe et j'aime jouer à des jeux. Ce laptop est génial. Gtx 1660ti et une écran impressionnante avec une calibration Pantone.**Malheureusement je dois mettre 4 étoiles car je dois le retourner à Amazon pour un échange après le dommage du colis et du même coup une des fan qui a sûreme nt bouger dans le choc. Elle fait du bruit anormal (1 fan sur 2 uniquement).**Je vais mettre à jour mon commentaire une fois l'échange faite.

  Great deal
  Incroyable laptop pour la performance et le poids !Pendant un séance gaming le laptop devient très chaud , j'ai remédié a ce problème avec un cooling pad Mais il faut absolument garder le gros chargeur qui viens avec dans un sac a coté car sinon la batterie en gaming ne dure pas plus que 45 min max

  Amazing for gaming
  I bought this pc 1 week ago and it is incredible. I received it in 5 days without issues. The built quality is pretty good and the quality-price is reasonable. The only issue I can tell it's the battery life that lasts about 4 hours on normal use and 1 hour on gaming.Also, at first I had a problem with my frames pe r seconds on one game but the guy who sells the pc gave me an incredible support. He's very here if you have any problems with the laptop

  Awesome laptop
  I love the laptop. But i feel like there's missing when i unboxing.The box has too many scratches but the laptop is brand new.And I think my order comes with office 360 free but I didn't get one.

  Bon ordinateur portable en général.
  Il est presque parfait mais son seul problème est la batterie et le bruit des ventilateurs. Effectivement, le rapport qualité prix est très respectable et selon moi, vaut la peine de l'acheter.
