    Top-notch processor
Definitely one of the fastest computers at its price. I feel as if Asus used all their budget on a top-notch processor and spent very little on the rest. All the other part's are functional of course, but definitely downgraded at the expense of processing power. I am going to try and be helpful and tell you all the things you won't see on the spec sheet. The screen is bright enough for outdoor use, but it lacks in color production. Even after adjustments, some colors will always look a bit off.Speakers are below average with buzzing base and highs that sound like tin cans. The touch-pad feels like cheap plastic, but it is large, clicky and responsive, with a fingerprint scanner that is quick. The keyboard has shallow keys that flex as you press them down, and I feel like they should have added a number pad or made the keyboard bigger with all the space on the sides. At least the back-light is adjustable, and it makes the keyboard look premium despite it not being the most functional. The terabyte hard drive was just a cheap way to advertise great specs on this laptop. It takes awhile to open up programs that are stored on the bigger hard drive, so you won't want to use it for anything that requires speed. From the design perspective, it would of been beneficial to put a bigger battery in place of the second hard drive as the battery only lasts 5 hours. The biggest disappointment is that the description says it is made of aluminum but It is mostly plastic, with only an aluminum panel on the top.All things considered, this is a good laptop for the price. There are many laptops such as HP Envy, Lenovo Ideapad, Toshiba Tecra, Acer Aspire, and a Dell Inspiron, with similar screen sizes, specifications and prices. What sold me on this Asus laptop is that it was much slimmer and lighter than the rest. If y ou are willing to spend a bit more, I would highly recommend the getting the Lenovo Yoga 730 from Staples or the Lenovo site.

    Misrepresented product
Amazon very clearly misrepresented this product, no vega 10, no backlit keyboard, now asus is telling me dual storage is also a no go. Fix it or we go through legal channels for your gross misrepresentation.

    I'm Happy but
*THE BATTERY IS NEAR USELESS*I bought the 14" FHD - 256SSD. I recommend this laptop for coding, school, work etc but not for gaming unless small app games. At first, I was a little worried that this keyboard might be too small due to the laptop only being 14". The keyboard is pretty much the same size as my desktop's keyboard minus the keypad. The keyboard backlight can be adjusted with Fn + F3/ F4 and looks very nice. The trackpa d is one of my biggest concerns, I have read horror stories of this trackpad with Asus laptops but using it until I got the laptop functioning as I wanted I was happy with it with on concern it clicks when a button is pushed. I have already moved on to Bluetooth mouse anyway which bt the way, Bluetooth is built into the laptop, no need for a dongle. The screen is small, but what does one expect when at 14". The screen still hits 1920 x 1080 by default. I have to admit this is one place I was not too happy, I got used to it quickly. The screen is ANTI-GLARE not glossy. If unplugged the screen goes into the power-saving mode or darker which can be brightened with Fn +F6 to meet the needs of the user. The processor is an Intel-Core-i7-8550U 1.8Ghz base processor with 4 core. This can be boosted up to 4Ghz which I do not recommend as it would overheat the laptop. The operating system is Windows Home and like any brand name computer, the laptop is filled with 2GB of useless apps fro m Windows Store apps and game to extra AV and web watchers. After setting up, I began removing the useless/unwanted apps, games like Candy Crush kept reinstalling, it took me three attempts to remove these apps before they stopped re-downloading. I also started seeing, newly listed programs which I did not need. While it seems like my process of setting up the laptop was a pain truthfully it went rather smooth.Battery seems to be the weak point of this computer. I charged it completely up and after an hour and a half it is sitting at 80% and this was mostly sleeping. So the battery is false info and misleading.I will not comment on the audio as I am hard of hearing and it could be far from the truth. The only other thing I can say about this laptop is that it very light and so far I am happy with it.

    Everything is good except battery
Everything is good except battery, it doesn't last long. Product description is wrong. It is 3-cell Lithium battery, not 6-cell.

    Product Headline Innacurate
Product Headline states "Vega 10 GPU" but it only contains a "Vega 3"This is an enormous difference in GPU power.

    Photographers beware
Very fast, but horrendous color accuracy. If you are a photographer or someone who needs true color reproduction, please research this laptop on testing websites and note the pertinent specs such as sRGB, Adobe RGB, Nit value, contrast ratio and so on - these are crucial to color brightness and accuracy. This laptop cannot reproduce the color spectrum of your tv or the human eye. I was terribly disappointed, because otherwise this is a nice laptop - aesthetically pleasing, nice features with dual drives, backlit keyboard, fingerprint rea der, beautiful gold aluminum finish and more speed than i have ever seen. One other thing - which i was more than willing to overlook - was flex in the keyboard panel. It might be a problem for someone who types a lot. And there's no number pad - not sure why as the deck is large enough. But for me the color accuracy was an absolute deal buster.

the screen kept on twitching like a graphical error
I got a defective laptop after 2 weeks of use, the screen kept on twitching like a graphical error. And now it's getting worse, it may be a defective graphic cards but I'm no pro. Also I hear some whizzing on the left side of the keyboard. It maybe a loose chip somewhere. I do not recommend buying this item and it's too late to return it now. Other than that the laptop is blazing fast so I've got that going for me which is nice.
