  Best laptop we've ever owned
  This laptop far exceeds our expectations, and excels beyond any previously owned laptop we've had from Dell, Toshiba, or Acer. Amazing speed for start-up and running everyday applications and the web. Also use it for streaming online video/TV while connected to our 37" TV via HDMI without any delays or issues. Haven't tried it for gaming as we're not gamers but the everyday use is superb. Also really like the backlit keyboard, and the keyboard layout - despite it being a Canadian bilingual layout, it is setup in a way that is the same as one that isn't, with full size and "correctly" placed enter, delete, and shift keys. Design is sleek and light for it's size, and the screen resolution is fantastic. I have nothing negative to say about this laptop. Superior product from HP.

  Very Unhappy Purchase - Waste of your money
  The product is very thin as expected, but as others mentioned, it comes with only a 5400rpm HDD, not that good hard drive in a sense. Bought it at 699 plus tax, a week after that, price drops to 689. So if you want to buy it, wait for a little longer, I am sure the price will drop quickly, as HP has new products coming in summer every year.

  Weak harddrive
  for under seven hundred bucks, this is a very nice laptop. What i like particularly is the screen - slim bezels and vivid colors, almost like OLED. The laptop is overall very aesthetically pleasing. However, what prevents me from giving this laptop 5 stars is its very weak laptop as it comes with only a 5400rpm HDD. It should at the very least come with a 7200rpm one if not a SSD, as SSDs are quite cheap. THis laptop is also a PITA to dissemble if you are to replace the harddrive.

  Extremely Slow!
  The laptop itself looks good and the screen is pretty decent. The build quality is OK, not the best. But it's EXTREMELY slow. Not sure if its because of its crappy HD (and super NOISY) or lack of enough memory. It just takes ages to get things done, especially when booting the computer. Don't recommend it at all.

  A little bit slow
  The outlook of the laptop, there's nothing to complain. However, performance is a little bit of the problem. I had a HP Probook before (with lower processing chip) but it ran way faster, and handled more tasks with speed rather than this one. But overall, not a bad choice!
